The first ever Secret Film Club was a roaring success. Schedule as follows...
7pm - 7.30pm Arrivals, canapés and welcomes
7.30pm Celebration dinner
8.05pm Crack open a beer or two
8.10pm Welcoming speech from all the guests
8.15pm Flag parade
8.20pm Time to relax and enjoy the entertainment offered by each guest
8.35pm Official opening, welcome special celebrity guest, and ribbon cutting ceremony. Pose for gathered press
8.45pm Time to sit back and enjoy the very first Head-nish (or Corn-land) Film Club film - an oldie but a goodie - classic Carry On Camping
9.55m Put the kettle on
10pm Time for the ladies to retire to the conservatory with a guitar-hero and his sweary buddy while the bigger boys try and scare the Bejebus out of themselves
11.30pm - late Close

The first presentation in Nick and Simons' Gory Film Gash was the uncut version of Hostel.

If I remember rightly, the flag parade was bumped up the schedule due to dinner (vegetable lasagne and garlic bread) not being cooked in time.
Each guest did a star turn. Princess Sarah and Nick acted a scene from Shakespeare's The Tempest, and also read some poetry. Karen did a snazzy dance incorporating certain industries, and Simon performed a very funny stand up/ventriloquism routine. Hurrah!
The ladies watched a recording of a live Wonderstuff concert, and Malc looked very sexy. The end.

I had forgotten about the Star Turns. The first film club seems so long ago now!
